About Me
From the time I can remember, I have loved to draw. As a kid, I’d go through a ream of my dad’s printer paper in a week. I taught myself to draw by copying photographs in magazines my mom would buy. This passion lead me to enroll in the Rhode Island School of Design’s pre-college program when I was in high school. After graduating, I spent my freshman year of college at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and earned my BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. I am now living in Bend, Oregon where I work as a freelance illustrator and book cover designer. I will also be teaching a basic drawing course at the Kilns College in the Spring, and I am currently working on my second solo show at Townshend's which will open in April. I live with my wonderful husband, five goldfish, and two anole lizards named Ziggy and Puppy. My biggest project, at the moment, is growing our first baby, due in January.
